PEWOTAPE-AS40 Plus is a cold-applied sealing tape system for the corrosion protection of metal pipes and pipelines in high mechanical and corrosive stress classes.

With its outstanding properties, PEWOTAPE-AS40 Plus has been the proven corrosion protection technology for cold-applied corrosion protection tapes worldwide since 1972. Thanks to its innovative formula, the tapes bond completely in the overlap area, forming a durable, tubular coating.

PEWOTAPE-AS40 Plus is a DIN-DVGW-approved system and can be applied in 3 layers (B 50) or 4 layers (C 50), depending on the desired protection class.

PEWOTAPE-AS40 Plus is virtually impermeable to water vapor and oxygen and is resistant to soil bacteria and electrolytes.

PEWOTAPE-AS40 Plus is compatible with factory coverings made of PE, PP, FBE, PU, ​​CTE, and Bitumen.

PEWOBAR-HT Primer
A solvent-based primer according to EN 12068 and DIN 30672 for corrosion protection with PEWOBAR tapes. See the separate product information for PEWOBAR-HT.

PEWOTAPE-AS40 Plus
A genuine co-extruded 3-layer plastic tape made of stabilized polyethylene carrier material with butyl rubber adhesive on both sides.
PEWOTAPE-AS40 Plus has a thickness of ≥0.8 mm.
